Professor Lisa Borgerding, Ph.D., and several math and science students from the Adolescent and Young Adult Education program presented recently at the in Columbus, Ohio.
Borgerding (who also serves on the SECO Ohio board of directors), and Hannah Petrosky presented on "Making Evolution Relevant to Biology Leaners."
Borgerding, Petrosky, Jess Hiltbrand, Michael Seibold, Kathryn Eppling, and Madison Boduch presented on "Using AI in the High School Science Classroom."
Additionally, six ADED seniors: Petrosky, Hiltbrand, Siebold, Eppling, Boduch and Brennan Taylor received the Diana H. Hunn Award for pre-service teachers, a competitive scholarship to supplemented their travel to the symposium.
