Larry and Sandy Disbro are lifelong members of ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Alumni Association’s Lake County Alumni Chapter and serve as board members as well as officers for the chapter (president, vice president, treasurer and historian). Both Larry and Sandy are also life members of the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Alumni Association and have actively supported ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ initiatives for more than 40 years.
Larry is a member of the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Golden Flashes Club and Honorary Varsity K. He has served on the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Intercollegiate Athletic council since 2009. And served on the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ National Alumni Board of Directors from 1995 through 2002 and served as secretary for a year. Sandy has volunteered with the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Admission’s Office, served as Homecoming parade judge for more than 10 years and also has co-chaired several committees for the Lake County Alumni Chapter.
As a student at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ, Larry was selected for Gamma Theta Upsilon, International Honorary Geographical Society, co-founded the Ohio Kappa Chapter, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and played on the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ baseball team. Sandy was also very active during her time at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ. She was part of the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Dance Team, Flasherettes and tennis team.
Larry and Sandy are avid ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ sports fans and longtime season ticket holders. Their daughter, Kellee Disbro, ’06 is also a ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ graduate and has been involved with the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Alumni Association's Southern California Chapter.
