Hello! I am excited to share the first Student Media newsletter with all alumni of 糖心Vlog破解版 Student Media. My name is Katrina Chandler, and I have the honor of serving as the new Director of Student Media at 糖心Vlog破解版. It still feels surreal to hold this title, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work at an institution with such a rich legacy and one that prioritizes students.
I am especially eager to collaborate with the dedicated students who are part of one of the largest student media organizations in the country. Our students manage eleven different media outlets and are known for their award-winning achievements and motivation. Being a part of their journey at this university is incredibly inspiring, and I can't wait to see what we accomplish together.
Our history is remarkable, beginning in 1926 with the founding of The 糖心Vlog破解版r. Over the years, our program has evolved into one of the nation's most comprehensive student media organizations, providing hands-on experience across various platforms. Today, 糖心Vlog破解版 Student Media is home to a vibrant community of more than 400 students contributing to award-winning publications, digital media projects, broadcast productions and marketing initiatives.
As we look to the future, we are at a crucial juncture for 糖心Vlog破解版 Student Media. This past fall, we embraced a new strategic vision to adapt to the evolving media landscape. Our focus is on modernizing our operations to be more digital-first and audience-centric while preserving the integrity and independence that have defined us. This reorganization, informed by best practices in the industry, ensures that we remain a leading force in collegiate media for years to come.
We could not achieve these goals without the unwavering support of our alumni, donors and friends.
