Professor Oleg Lavrentovich is world renowned for his research work on liquid crystals. He is a Trustees Research Professor at the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ as well at the editor of the Liquid Crystal Reviews journal. Much of his research investigates their practical application. At the 16th Annual CitiesAlive Conference recently held in New York City, a consortium of Ohio universities was selected as one of the first four North American regional centers of living architecture by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and the Green Infrastructure Foundation.
