2016 Staff Excellence Awards Announced

ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Stark Recognizes Outstanding Employees

On Friday, April 22, 2016, ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ at Stark faculty and staff gathered in the Campus Center to recognize the 2016 Staff Excellence Award recipients.

Several weeks prior to the ceremony, the campus community was asked to nominate a staff member or administrator with a written recommendation supporting the person they thought deserved to be recognized.

Criteria for nominations included:

  • Gives 100% effort
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude
  • Shows a strong commitment to their job and to ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ
  • Continuously helps others
  • Is dependable, conscientious and caring
  • Exceeds job and workload demands
  • Works easily with people; collegial
  • Motivates others

A committee of faculty, staff and administrators selected the recipients from the many nominations.

Are you looking to dip your toes in the expanding field of microchip manufacturing? ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ is offering two free micro-credential courses this spring to high school juniors and seniors, as well as industry professionals, fresh starters, educators, upskillers, reskillers and those excited about the world of semiconductors. The courses – Introduction to Semiconductor Devices and Sand to Silicon – are primarily online, with one planned in-person lab during the semester.
