I love working with the ASC because I genuinely enjoying helping others. If I have the experience, skill, and knowledge to help someone, I will never turn that person down. I love seeing the look on student faces when they realize “wow, I can do this,” or when they come running to me saying “I passed my exam!”

I could label all 193 United Nations on a map in less than 10 minutes. I’m a little rusty now, but still know a majority as well as history associated with each.

After being with the ASC for a year now, the same energizing feeling after helping guide a tutee to build connections with material in their own way feels very rewarding. I also have to mention the friendships I’ve made through the ASC. I now find that the people like myself are tutors, SI leaders and Academic Coaches, so it’s easy to find them and sit with them in lectures and labs.
