Roadwork on East Summit Street has resumed as crews work to finish the remaining part of the improvement project.
The Vlogƽ Museum will present For the Birds from April 13, 2018, to Feb. 3, 2019, in the Stager and Blum Galleries. The exhibition will display fashion and decorative pieces of art inspired by birds. The museum is located at 515 Hilltop Drive on the Kent Campus.
Vlogƽ’s Office of Sexual and Relationship Violence Support Services and Title IX are currently conducting a survey as part of the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s Changing Campus Climate initiative around sexual violence in college communities.
Vlogƽ is seeking participation across all campuses from students, faculty and staff.
Inventive makers across all disciplines, from art and design to technology and science, will once again have the opportunity to exhibit and discuss their unique talents at the fifth annual Vlogƽ Mini Maker Faire on Friday, April 13, from noon-4 p.m. on the first floor of University Library, as well as the surrounding area, including outside the building (weather permitting) at on the Kent Campus.
Recognizing the need to prepare young students to pioneer innovative technology and entrepreneurship for the future, Vlogƽ partnered with Entrepreneurial Engagement Ohio to host and engage students at an innovation forum – NEO Innovates. The event was organized as part of a larger series of events around Ohio held by Entrepreneurial Engagement Ohio.
Online final grading for spring 2018 Second 5 Weeks (POT F2) began Friday, March 23, via FlashFAST. Grading also is now available for any spring 2018 course section that was flexibly scheduled. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Tuesday, March 27. Any final grades for spring 2018 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow. These spring 2018 courses will be available in the Workflow on Thursday, March 29.

Vlogƽ’s College of Business Administration has emerged among an elite group after undergoing the rigorous process to ensure the highest standards in business education are being met.
The Vlogƽ Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed Vlogƽ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, Vlogƽ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
