Award-winning picture book illustrator and author Will Hillenbrand has been named the first illustrator-in-residence and the second writer-in-residence for Vlogƽ’s School of Information (iSchool).

The Vlogƽ Faculty/Staff Bowling League is now accepting new teams, members and substitute bowlers. Bowlers compete weekly on Monday evenings at 6:20 p.m. at Spins Bowl Kent (formerly Bill White’s Twinstar Lanes) on state Rt. 59 in Kent.
The Faculty/Staff Bowling League is open to all full-time, part-time and retired employees, as well as their families and friends.
The 2017-2018 Vlogƽ bowling season begins Sept. 18 and continues through April 9, 2018. The cost is $14 a week.

The Vlogƽ Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed Vlogƽ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, Vlogƽ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
