AUDITION INFORMATION

����Vlog�ƽ�� students enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate program who play string, brass, woodwind, or percussion instruments are eligible to join.

Music Majors are required to attend in-person auditions.
Non-Music Majors are encouraged to attend in-person auditions. An alternative audition for non-majors may be available upon request.

Repertoire for the upcoming year will include music by Ludwig van Beethoven, John Williams, Caroline Shaw, William Grant Still, Johannes Brahms, Maurice Ravel, and more.

How can I join?

By a simple placement audition in the fall or spring semester.

����Vlog�ƽ�� Orchestra Society

The ����Vlog�ƽ�� Orchestra is supported by the, a non-profit organization founded in 1973 to provide scholarships for the members of the ensemble. 

Because of the generosity and support of this organization, nearly every student in the KSU Orchestra receives financial assistance in the form of a scholarship. 

Each year, the ����Vlog�ƽ�� Orchestra performs at the KSU Orchestra Society’s annual student scholarship fundraising event “Evening with the Orchestra.”

By the numbers:

• $60,000+ in scholarships awarded every year.
• Over 30 scholarships have been awarded yearly.
• Since its founding in the 1970s, the organization has supported the student members of the ensemble with nearly $1 million in scholarships given to over 650 students.
