Park Place. ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ’s First Parking Deck to Improve Access, Allow for Campus Transformation

ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ students who park on the northern edge of the Kent Campus can now give a collective cheer as additional parking is on the way via an 1,100-space, five-story parking deck. The ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Board of Trustees approved the deck’s construction at its Dec. 4 meeting.

ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Recognized as a Tree Campus USA for 11 Consecutive Years

ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ has once again received recognition from Tree Campus USA, an Arbor Day Foundation program, for its commitment to effective urban forest management. This is now the 11th consecutive year that ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ has been awarded this honor. The university will celebrate the designation along with its annual Arbor Day events on April 25.

ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Police Dog Coco Celebrates Five Years of Service

ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Police Services is celebrating the five-year anniversary – or the 35 dog-year anniversary – of its first K-9 unit, which features 7-year-old German Shepherd Coco and herhandler, Officer Anne Spahr.

Coco was the first police dog at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ. She is now one of two police dogs at the university.
