Apartment items separated into donations, trash or keep boxes

Donate Unwanted Items During Move Out

During move-out, students sometimes trash clothes and boxes of food. Throw ‘N’ Go, ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ's annual move-out program, is currently underway to keep those useable items out of landfills and in the hands of people who need them.

Blue and Gold, Going Green for Earth Month

Every April, ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ celebrates Earth Month by having Earth-related events all month long. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, is the 55th anniversary of Earth Day, with this year’s theme being Our Power, Our Planet.

The ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Board of Trustees met March 19 on the Kent Campus for its regular quarterly meeting. Among its actions, the Board endorsed the Division of Academic Affairs’ plan for degree-granting colleges called Transformation 2028.

Art items at the KSU Surplus Store

New Location, Same Mission and Exceptional Bargains

The KSU Surplus Store opened on East Main Street in September of 2023. It recently moved to a new location – on campus in the vacant College of Business Administration Building. The new location offers single-floor shopping and easier access for students and faculty.

Governor Names Gregory White and Abygail Deemer to ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Board of Trustees

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed two new trustees to the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Board of Trustees. DeWine named Gregory White, J.D., of Concord Township, Ohio, to a nine-year term as trustee and Abygail Deemer of Warren, Ohio, to a two-year term as an undergraduate student trustee.
