ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ alumnus Corey Conners remains near the top of the leaderboard after Saturday's third round at the 2025 Masters Tournament. The Canadian star fired a 2-under-par 70 at Augusta National Golf Club, putting him in third place at -8.

On Thursday, Conners’ performance represented a historic moment for Canadian golf, as he became the first Canadian to sit in the top three at The Masters through Round 1 since Stan Leonard in 1959 – nearly seven decades ago, according to Sportsnet Stats.
The 33-year-old surged late in the first round, recording three birdies in the final four holes. Overall, Conners carded five birdies against a single bogey on Thursday. On Saturday, he positioned himself four strokes behind leader Rory Mcllroy heading into Sunday's final round.
The ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ graduate has three previous top-10 finishes at The Masters, including a T-6 in 2022, T-8 in 2021, and T-10 in 2020. He missed the cut in 2023 but rebounded with a T-38 finish in 2024, making the cut in five of his seven previous Masters appearances.
Conners’ strong showing comes as his longtime coach, Herb Page, continues to support him from afar while battling health issues. Page, the legendary former ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ golf coach who retired in 2019 after 41 years at the helm, has been instrumental in Conners’ development since his collegiate days.
During his time at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ (2010-2014), Conners was a standout performer, earning All-America honors and twice being named the MAC Golfer of the Year. The Listowel, Ontario, native was also a two-time Academic All-American, demonstrating excellence both on the course and in the classroom. Last year, Conners represented Canada in the Paris Olympics, marking another significant achievement in his career.
Entering this year’s Masters, Conners had already compiled an impressive 2025 PGA Tour season with four top-10 finishes, including a third-place result at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a T-5 at The Sentry. The two-time PGA Tour winner has made the cut in eight of his first nine starts this season.
