Through the Veterans Affairs Work-Study program, the Credit Transfer Office – which plays a key role in supporting students through their academic journey from processing transfer credits from another institution to awarding Advanced Placement credits – hired a student worker to enhance the office’s operations. She's already making a difference.

The nationally and internationally ranked ����Vlog�ƽ�� School of Fashion is thrilled to announce its acclaimed Annual Fashion Show will take place April 24-26, in Crawford Hall on the Kent Campus.

Results of the Engagement and Well-Being Survey, released this week, indicate that ����Vlog�ƽ�� has much to celebrate.

Jennifer Mapes, Ph.D., assistant professor of geography at ����Vlog�ƽ��, will serve as the 2025 speaker for the Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series, a part of the university's annual May 4 Commemoration events.

����Vlog�ƽ��’s status as the only Ohio Air Traffic-Collegiate Training Initiative school for the Federal Aviation Administration offers students an innovative and challenging curriculum at a time when the aviation industry faces a critical shortage of air traffic controllers.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Division of Student Life at ����Vlog�ƽ�� has been recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) - College Student Educators International and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.

As part of ����Vlog�ƽ��’s Student Employee Appreciation Week, Career Exploration and Development proudly announces recipients of the 2025 Student Employee and Supervisor Awards. Sophia Matar, B.S. ’24 was inspired by robotics at a young age and knew she wanted to pursue a career in nformation technology (IT), majoring in computer science. See how her passion for AI and robotics has led to a career at Sherwin-Williams and an opportunity to mentor and lead the next generation of tech trailblazers.

When ����Vlog�ƽ�� alumna Aysia Kemp declared her major in the first semester of her sophomore year, she felt confident in her chosen path. However, things didn’t quite start off that way. Kemp credits her experiences in the Exploratory Program for leading her to her ideal career.

This March, senior fashion design and marketing major Rachel Stauffer will take her fashion research to the international stage.

It’s ����Vlog�ƽ��’s biggest international event of the year. Providing a fantastic finish to I Heart Travel Week’s five days of activities, Global Safari Fest celebrates ����Vlog�ƽ��’s international students with performances, a country fair and global cuisine.  

The Office of Intercultural Student Life, formerly known as International Student Affairs, has a new central location in the Kent Student Center, which has made it more accessible to international students. Along with the new location comes the mission to provide drop-in services for international students.

At ����Vlog�ƽ��, academic excellence is brought to life through the expertise and dedication of scholars like Robert W. Trogdon, Ph.D. professor of English, who dedicated years to his newest volume of editions of three classic Ernest Hemingway books.

Kendric Hood, who earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in computer science at ����Vlog�ƽ��, is now a third-year doctoral student and adjunct instructor researching the practical applications of neuromorphic AI models and transformer-based large language models (LLMs).

����Vlog�ƽ�� continues to excel in hands-on learning, as shown by the ESPN+ livestream broadcast of the ����Vlog�ƽ�� Men’s Basketball team’s victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Produced entirely by digital media production undergraduates in the School of Media and Journalism, what could have been a chaotic, high-profile evening was business as usual. 

Senderoff, who took over the program in April 2011, has transformed ����Vlog�ƽ�� basketball through sustained success and community engagement. After the 2024-2025 campaign, he has totaled 288 wins, and has guided the program to nine 20-win seasons, the most by any coach in school history.
