����Vlog�ƽ�� Student Media’s advertising and marketing team earned numerous honors from the College Media Business and Advertising Managers’ (CMBAM) annual advertising awards, including distinction as the third-best “Media Company of the Year.” 

Religious and Spiritual Accommodations Allow Students Time to Celebrate Other Religious Holidays

Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, ����Vlog�ƽ�� created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.

Helping Those Who Help New Moms

Community healthcare providers in Northeast Ohio are encountering an increase in patients seeking maternal mental health services. ����Vlog�ƽ�� College of Nursing Assistant Professor James Tudhope and his research team aim to make maternal mental healthcare more integrated into regular practice and standard education.

Winter Coat and Clothing Drive Ongoing Through Dec. 15

From now through Dec. 15, ����Vlog�ƽ�� is collecting clean, gently used or new items of warm clothing for all ages, including coats, hats, gloves, scarves and sweaters, as part of its Winter Coat and Clothing Drive.

Booming Accounting Job Market Attracts High School Students To ����Vlog�ƽ�� Case Competition

Area high school students learned about the benefits of a career in accounting while participating in the ����Vlog�ƽ�� High School Accounting Case Challenge.

Hosted by the ����Vlog�ƽ�� Department of Accounting, the event brought together 85 students from Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School, North Canton Hoover High School, Aurora High School and Tallmadge High School. The competition was sponsored by The Ohio Society of CPAs, Pease Bell CPAs, Robert Fay, Ernst & Young, Novogradac and RSM.
